Sisters

Having a sister is like having a best friend you can't get rid of.
You know whatever you do, they'll still be there.
Sisters are different flowers from the same garden.
Our roots say we're sisters, our hearts say we're friends.

Words to Live by

Out of frustration with the people I love most, I decided to put all the things I say regularly in print (well paint). So now every time my family sits at the table they can read for themselves what it is I expect of them! (They probaly still won't do it but it looks nice on the wall and once I get those walls painted jalepeno pepper green it will look even better!)

Skipper

We have a new member of the family. Skipper is one of Bella's puppies born at the end of May. He is the scruffiest little country mutt. He enjoys chewing, chasing squirrels, and peeing on floors.

He has a talent for making 11 year old boys smile also.
He loves his happy puppy life.

Wild Thing

My nephew Colin is one of those boys that if you didn't know better you would think he was being raised deep in the jungle by wild animals. For more on that check out my sister's blog Langley living. And even though Colin probably doesn't want you to know this but after all the stunts he pulls, We love Him and think he's a great kid, most of the time.

Bestie Cousins

Anna Reese and her cousin Madilyn are the best of friends. Madilyn is one of the sweetest girls we know and Anna Reese is so happy to have her for a cousin and a friend.

Pioneer Past Times

Our family enjoyed the laid back pace of the 1840's. We toured through the homes, the bakery, the post office, the gun shop, the streets, and town of the early saints in Nauvoo. We learned how they lived and thrived in the "olden days". We learned of the sacrifices that many made for their faith in Jesus Christ. And through them, we can see that our Heavenly Father blesses those who keep the commandments and follow Him.
